Pool Renovation - we can renovate the lining of your old concrete pool. Old tiles or render can be removed and any structural problems can be rectified. We then prepare the surface for the tiles or render that you have chosen for your pool. Pictured (right) on this page are photos taken during the preparation and tiling of a pool. Below is a before and after photo of another fully tiled pool. Surface renders are a cost effective alternative to tiling a pool. Quartzon, for instance is available in a range of nine brilliant colours.
Coping - in most cases we will also replace the coping around the top edge of your pool. Apart from adding to the appearance of your pool, the coping provides secure non-slip footing. A range of products can be used for the coping, sandstone, large paving tiles and slate are all common materials used by our customers.
Filters, Pumps & Pipework - these items often are in need of repair. We can overhaul and install new pumps, filters and pipework for your pool. We will advise on the best system to suit your requirements to help keep your pool looking crystal clear. Salt water chlorinators are the most common option for residential pools. Other options such as ionisers and ozone systems are available to maintain the health of your pool.
Solar Heating - we can install solar heating which can extend the use of your pool for a couple months each year. With free heating provided by the sun this can be a very cost effective way to heat your pool. Other systems are available for heating such as gas boilers and heat pump systems.
Water Features & Lighting - can also be installed during your pool renovation. Pools can look great when lit up at night. New technology such as LED lighting and fibre optics can now create stunning effects. Make your pool the envy of friends!
