Owner Joan Holden, opened The Source in June 1997, after extensive retail and buying experience in London at Harrods and the House of Fraser Group.

Joan's motto for the bathroom is to create a haven where you can truly relax. Her team includes two interior designers who work carefully designing and selecting fixtures and fittings. Both work closely with Adelaide's top architects and designers.

"It is hard to believe that only a few years ago people used to leave the choice of fittings to the plumber, or they made a quick visit to the plumber's merchant to pick out what was required, usually the day before the builder arrived," explains Joan.
