Kanga Gardening is an owner-operated grounds maintenance business based in Edithvale, servicing south-east Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. We provide scheduled, recurring maintenance for body corporate and strata complexes, commercial and industrial sites, schools and institutions, acreage and lifestyle properties, holiday homes, and indoor office plants.

All of it runs on a fixed monthly fee. Every site is quoted after a walkthrough, so the scope is written down and the fee does not move around from one visit to the next.

Built for recurring work rather than one-off jobs

The same operator attends every visit, which means the person on site already knows the irrigation layout, the plant list, the access arrangements and what was done last time. Nothing has to be explained twice, and small problems get picked up before they become quoted work.

Seasonal condition reporting

Body corporate committees and facilities managers receive seasonal condition reporting. Each report records what was scheduled, what was completed, what was deferred and the reason for it, with consistent location-based photographs so a committee can see the state of the site without attending it.

Horticulture handled properly

Horticultural work is handled properly rather than tidied over. That covers soil and turf management, fertiliser programs matched to species and season, pest and disease monitoring, and plant identification before any treatment is considered. Indoor plantscapes are maintained on the same recurring basis, including watering, feeding and replacement of plants that have finished.

Insurance and credentials

Kanga Gardening is fully insured with $20M public and products liability, and a Certificate of Currency is available on request. The operator holds a current Working with Children Check, a National Police Check and a White Card, and SWMS documentation is supplied for commercial sites. Established 2020.
